Health Benefits of Eating Olives and Complete Olive Cultivation Methods.

Olives are one of the most valuable fruit crops in the world, especially in regions with warm climates, long summers, and relatively mild winters. The olive fruit comes from the olive tree, scientifically known as Olea europaea, a long-lived evergreen tree belonging to the Oleaceae family. Olives have been cultivated by humans for thousands of years and have played an important role in Mediterranean food traditions, agriculture, trade, and culture. Today, olives are consumed in many forms, including fresh or cured olives, preserved olives, olive paste, and olive oil. Although olive cultivation is traditionally associated with Mediterranean countries, interest in olive production has expanded to other regions with suitable climates. In Bangladesh, olive-like fruits are also widely known and eaten, particularly the fruit commonly called “deshi jolpai,” which is botanically different from the European olive.
